Welcome Rocky Mountain District Key Clubbers!!

My name is Mario Hernandez, and I am
honored to be serving as your 2008 -
2009 District Governor. I have spent the
past two years working with the District
Board as Technology Chair and Lieuten-
ant Governor. Some of my major goals
for this year are to raise $20,000 for Child-
I would like to thank all of the RMD,
key clubbers who helped  make this
year's International Convention such
a success. We were well represented
at ICON, and  everyone had a great
time. We were able to raise some
money for COPI, make trauma dolls,
ren of Peace International, have members
attend International Convention in Denver,
and increase membership in each club.
This can all be made possible with every-
one's effort. I would like to thank all of you
in advance for the hard work and dedicat-
ion you have put into COPI.
and even win the spirit stick during the
Farewell Session! Overall, ICON was a
big success, and should help to streng-
then our district quite a bit.
For those who weren't there, our new
International President is Kia Albertson-
Rodgers, and the VP is Jonathan Yang.

As another year begins, please take time out to consider the importance of strengthening your home clubs and planning ahead for the fall season of service. Please start preparing for attendance at Fall Rally, and contact you Lieutenant Governors for information. Also, keep in mind that a new Key Club service initiative is going into effect, and being planning now so that you're clubs are ready to shoulder this newest load.
